Frequently Asked Questions
Question: What is Chiropractic care?
Answer: Rather than prescribing medication or performing surgery, Chiropractors are trained to provide a natural form of care that allows the body to heal itself. This form of care adjusts the spine to allow the body to heal naturally. Because Chiropractic care focuses on the nerve system, you may experience improved health in areas other than back or neck. Our Approach.
Question: Is Chiropractic care safe?

Question: What ages of people can benefit from adjustments?
Answer: Clients range in age from infants to elderly, including expectant mothers.
Question: What can I expect to happen during my first visit?
Answer: Tell us about your health history and daily health habits. Meet with Dr. Williams for a verbal consultation regarding your health and symptoms you are experiencing. Record height, weight, blood pressure, range of motion, orthopedic and neurological tests and specific Chiropractic tests. Full-spine x-ray picture may be taken for further diagnostics. Some form of physical therapy (possibly electrical) may be given to relax the muscles. Adjustment usually occurs on during the second visit, after the doctor has had an opportunity to evaluate the examination and x-ray findings. Dr. Williams will provide a suggested form of care typically at the end of the first or second visit.
